Aged just 15 Laura began singing in jazz bars.<br /><br />At just 17 year of age Laura won a radio competition where she got the chance to sing in front of an audience of 15,000 people when Peter Kay switched on the Bolton Christmas lights. Her smooth, soleful jazz style is proving to be a big hit with the judges and she even managed to get through the auditions with a sore throat.<br /><br />Laura is studying Creative Writing at university and currently lives at home with her parents, brother and sister.
